We didn’t have our traditional public stewardship days in 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but our dedicated volunteers were very active throughout the year! Through limited-capacity Weed Warrior Wednesdays and the work of our Seasoned Stewards, we accomplished hands-on work at many of our habitat reserves, from removing invasive species to planting trees. Our designated Site Stewards also kept NCLC going strong by regularly visiting and monitoring our properties along the Oregon Coast. Having their eyes and ears on the land is a big help to our stewardship team. Meanwhile, we also had committed volunteers stuffing envelopes, proofing publications, managing databases and doing other tasks that helped us with day-to-day operations. Thank you to all of our 2021 volunteers.
