NCLC's Beloved CoastWalk Oregon Returns in 2021

After going on hiatus in 2020 because of COVID-19, our popular fundraising event, CoastWalk Oregon, made a return in September 2021. Instead of walking a portion of the Oregon Coast Trail—as is our tradition—we took participants on a journey of the “The North Coast Less Traveled.” This included lesser-known hiking routes between the Columbia River and Tillamook Head. Following beaches, boardwalks, footpaths, and bike trails, we went to hidden corners of Fort Stevens State Park, Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, and our own Circle Creek Conservation Center. We’re already planning for CoastWalk Oregon 2022, which will take place Sept. 9 to 11 and bring us back to the northernmost stretch of the Oregon Coast Trail.
